I am an Irish writer, musician, technology expert, and almost-economist who accidentally lives in Sweden. I’m also an unapologetic idler who enjoys nothing more than being distracted by beer, coffee, and good conversation.

While my full name is Joshua Dowling, I’ve gone by Josh D. Wolf since I was a teenager for reasons I can barely remember. But please call me Josh. Who’s got time for all those vowels?

In many ways, I consider myself an Irish ambassador, which is why a lot of my articles focus on lessons we can learn from our Nordic neighbours. Now if only I could figure out how to get diplomatic immunity…

I’m extremely Irish but currently live in Sweden.

I can speak a little Swedish and count to ten in Irish.
